Craig, an eight-year-old with a brain tumor and less than a year to live, resides in England. Looking for hope, his mother pushes him to break the Guinness World Record for receiving the most get-well cards. Josh is a skeptical American newspaper reporter who is chosen by his editor to investigate the 'real facts' concerning these cards. Josh travels to England to spend time with the family and observes the events first hand. What he discovers will change his life forever.
